Caravan Details
Pixie, our beautiful static caravan situated close to the beach on the beautiful Solway Coast.
Pixie was born in 2000 and has been well cared for. She is an 8 birth and has 2 proper bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. In the lounge she has 2 double pulldown beds, thus accommodating 8.
Bedding is provided, but you need to bring your own duvet covers, sheets and towels. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area is large.
The holiday park is situated at the foot of the beautiful Galloway Hills, adjacent to a two mile stretch of beach with stunning views across the Solway Firth. The lovely towns of Dumfries, Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright are only a short drive away. Public transport is also available from Southerness Holiday Village.
There is an on-site clubhouse on Southerness Holiday Village with entertainment most nights plus an excellent restaurant. Additional facilities on-site include an Indoor Pool, Soft Play Area, Amusements, Crazy Golf, a Takeaway and much more.
While staying at Southerness Holiday Village you can visit attractions such as Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park, Mabie Farm Park, Sweetheart Abbey, Galloway Falconry and Threave Gardens. You could also visit the numerous castles in the area, climb Criffel or a leisurely walk on one of the many nearby beaches. There are numerous sports in and around the area, which include golf, tennis, pony trekking, sailing and fishing.
