Caravan Details
Our luxury 8 berth caravan is sited on a prime pitch with easy access to the main site facilities.
The caravan has 1 double and two twin bedrooms sleeping 6 guests and there is a pull out bed in the lounge area for 2 additional guests. It is fully equipped for 8 guests. All of the bedrooms and the shower room have electric radiators; the lounge has a gas fire. In the lounge area is a 22" flat screen integrated digital TV with built in DVD player, we also have a 15" portable TV with video player and Scart socket - ideal for the kids games consoles. There are two toilets - one in the shower room and one is a separate toilet. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and includes fridge (with freezer compartment), kettle, toaster, microwave oven, full size oven, grill and 4 gas rings (with electric ignition).
Piped gas, electricity, duvets and pillows are included in all bookings. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided so you can relax on arrival with a fresh drink. Beds can now be made up on arrival. We will arrange Fun works (Entertainment) Passes if required at additional cost for your booking so that everything you need is ready for when you arrive.
Our caravan is located on the Valley View Development with easy access to the main site facilities. The park is on a hill but from our caravan across to the main complex (bar/restaurant/swimming pools/takeaways/shop) is a level walk taking a couple of minutes at a steady pace. The playing fields and pitch and putt golf are close by too.
After the major redevelopments to improve the setting around our caravan last season the park have now redeveloped the outdoor pool and enlarged the sun terrace for 2011. Also new for 2011 is a new adventure play area and improvements to the Hillside area of the park.
Combe Haven Holiday Park
Combe Haven Holiday Park is operated by Haven Holidays and close to £10m has been spent improving the site facilities over recent years.
As well as the Valley View development, Combe Haven have also redeveloped the swimming pools over the winter to include a new changing village, an enlarged sun terrace around the outside pool and a new Space Bowl Flume ride.
As well as the swimming pools the park has a wide range of facilities including the all day entertainment in club 'Live', adventure playground, pitch and putt golf, all weather multi sports playing field, indoor Sports Drome, amusement arcades, shop, launderette, Mash & Barrel pub/lounge/cafe, Papa Johns Pizza (with delivery to your caravan!) and Burger King.
Activities and children's clubs run throughout the day and evening.
The surrounding area has a wide range of things to see and do including the beaches, battle fields, banger racing, castles, museums, abbeys, steam trains, cliff top walks, fishing - it's all available within a short drive.
